The Unheard

Corona put the performative arts on non-active and forced the sector to close all venues. Some switched to live streaming, many remained silent. Together with K.A.K. (Koekelberg Alliance of Tinkerers), CREW conceived De Ongehoorden (The Unheard), a live street performance with five robotic horns. After performances in Brussels, Ostend and the Knokke Light Art Festival, the company returns to the capital for a walk on the occasion of the corona crisis one year anniversary.

Five robotized horns travel through the city in search of an audience. After months of lockdown, there is no stopping it. Do they open their mouths wide, hoping that we will listen to them? Or are they gigantic ears, bent to hear our story? Should you encounter these creatures; they don’t bite, talk to them.
