Tremens
Tremens is an immersive experience at the intersection of theater and embodied virtual reality. Inspired by Shakespeare’s misanthrope Timon of Athens, the work explores the tension between human connection and withdrawal in a world where people risk being reduced to data points. Through fluid, interactive architectures and shifting spatial constellations, the audience encounters avatars and digital illusions that blur the line between reality and virtuality.
By drawing parallels between Timon and Mark Zuckerberg, Tremens reflects on the promises and perils of virtual worlds and what it truly means to be human in an increasingly mediated landscape.
